Cassandra-198190
Scoring system from 1981-90 in our timeline
By Akitaldo
Cassandra had the power to see the future, but she was cursed in that no one would believe her prophecies. In Chaos 1988, we saw Senna becoming World Champion whereas Prost had more total points. As if reality wasn't what we were perceiving. Thus the name of Cassandra for an universe where they use the 1981-90 scoring system.
9-6-4-3-2-1 for the first 6 drivers, but only a driver's best race results count. They retain just over the best 2/3 of race results for each driver.
For example, 2/3 of 15 is 10, and 11 is just over 10. So with 15 races they would retain the best 11 results of a driver for his championship points.
Another example: 2/3 of 16 is ~10.7, and 11 is just over 10.7. So, again, with 16 races, they would retain the best 11 results.
Parentheses indicate the total points if they had kept every result. If you want to see what happens when they keep all the race results with the same points awarded, you can check out the universe Euthania-196190.
